INDIVIDUALS GIFT CARD: Guidelines/ Terms applicable to WickedYo’s #sliceofjoy Gift Card
GIFT VALUE vs. ACTUAL VALUE: The Gift Value of the Card will be indicated in the Gift Card Code Email that each one receives. The Actual Value that the recipient receives could well be 25 to 50% MORE, given the various sale discounts that may prevail at the time that the recipient decides to use the Card. So, a company that gifts a 100$ Gift Card may entitle the recipient to buy products worth 25 to 50% more, depending on their choice of products and the seasonal discounts on offer. 1/ Individuals: Gift Cards for Individual use can be purchased in the separate Gift Card Listing For Individuals by adding the choice of Card/s to the cart like any other online order. Once payment is made at the checkout, you will get an email confirming the order and a separate email with the Unique, Confidential Digital Gift Code . You can pass on the unique code OR print out the Card Code email and hand it over to any friend or family member that you want to gift to OR forward the email with your special message to the family member or friend.
DIRECT OPTION: ALTERNATIVELY, if you want the gift card to go to your recipient directly, you can do that as well: Just tick the box that says, "I want to send this as a gift" and there will be a dropdown that will appear, where you can provide your recipient's email, name and also add a brief personal, festive message. Please DOUBLE-CHECK the email address of the recipient because once the Unique Code is sent to that email address, it cannot be retrieved or cancelled. You can also choose the date when you want that sent as well. [And you will get a confirmation email, as well]
Please REMEMBER that for this direct option, you can only give only one recipient email for an order. If you are planning to gift multiple recipients and you want us to email their codes directly to them, then you need to place a separate order for each recipient.
2/ This #SliceOfJoy Holiday Gift Card entitles the recipient to their choice of WickedYo’s Gifts at wickedyo.com for the total value indicated in the Gift Card Code Email. The recipient will get a Unique, Confidential Digital Gift Code which is to be used at the WickedYo checkout. When the code is used it will deduct the value of the card from her total order at the checkout. If the total value of the order is more than the value of the card, only the balance needs to be paid.
3/ Whoever gets the Gift Card can decide to pick ANY of the WickedYo products. If the price of the product/s or their total value of the order is more than the value/balance of their card, the excess amount is payable by them.
4/ NO Returns or Refunds:
Individuals: Once a Gift Card order is completed the Unique Confidential Digital Gift Code is automatically generated and MUST be honored by WickedYo. The code will be unique to EACH recipient and is to be kept confidential as it is ‘as-good-as-cash’ for any WickedYo transaction. Gift Cards CANNOT be returned or refunded. The gift cards have no additional processing fees.
5/ The recipient of the Gift Card is responsible for the safekeeping of the Unique Code. If anyone else gets access to the Unique Code they can redeem the value of a gift card by entering it at checkout.
6/ The value of the gift card can be spent over more than one order. However, to get maximum value and benefit, ideally the gift card should be used in one single purchase.
7/ Gift card values/balances are applied to the total value of an order, which can include taxes and shipping, depending on the product and the country where the purchase is made, and the shipping address given by the recipient. If there are any valid custom duties to be paid, depending on the regulations pertaining to their country of residence, that will have to borne by the recipient.
